During the operation of the AGV, the main controller constantly compares the theoretically estimated physical position with the actual position. The result of the comparison is converted into command values for the speed and angle of the AGV trolley, so as to correct the speed, position, and angle deviation of the AGV trolley during walking, so as to realize the accurate positioning accuracy of the AGV.


Most traditional AGVs use incremental encoders, but the problem of AGV zero loss will be found in the application process. When the AGV is powered off, the main controller needs to remember the angle value of the steering wheel, and the AGV cannot move anymore after the power failure, otherwise the zero point memorized by the main controller will shift, causing the AGV steering wheel zero position to be lost, although it can be increased by reference Point to correct the position of the steering wheel, but there is still no guarantee that the position is accurate before the reference point. In order to completely solve the problem of the zero point loss of the AGV steering wheel, an absolute encoder is needed at this time.


  The CAN bus encoders produced by Weihai Adike have been applied to AGV cars in large quantities, and have been highly praised and recommended by AGV manufacturers. Since each position of the absolute encoder is constant and not affected by power failure or interference, the main controller does not need to memorize the position of the zero point, does not need to find the reference point, and does not need to keep counting.   The CANopen encoder of the ADK series complies with the CiA DSP-406 equipment specification, and can program the encoder's working mode (polling mode or automatic mode), station number, encoder counting direction, single-turn resolution, number of turns and other parameters.
