The code disc is an important part of the photoelectric encoder, and any factor that obstructs the passage of light may cause the encoder signal to be disordered. Currently there are three types of code discs on the market: film (plastic) code discs, glass code discs, and metal code discs.

2. Magnetoelectric encoder

The magnetic encoder is mainly composed of magnetic steel, induction chip, circuit board and other components. Compared with the photoelectric encoder, it eliminates the grating plate (code disk).
